Date of Incorporation Hypro Engineering, Inc.

Rapid growth prompted a move to Columbia Heights, MN.
1965
Acquired by Hypro, Inc., a subsidiary of Lear Siegler, Inc.
1967
Expansion spurred a move to the building in New Brighton, MN.
1971
Sherwood products are assigned to the Hypro Division.
1989
Hypro introduces the polypropylene pump, expanding our “Long Blue Line” of centrifugal
pumps for agricultural applications.
1995
Hypro becomes a subsidiary of Milwaukee-based WICOR, Inc. to gain synergies from shared markets.
1997
Hypro celebrates its 50th Anniversary, thanking customers for their support and
employees for their dedication over the years.
1999
In December of 1999, Hypro acquires Precision Fitting & Valve and Lurmark
for their agricultural spray products.
2001
Wisconsin Energy Corporation (WEC) acquires WICOR, Inc., including Hypro
and all other WICOR companies.
2004
In August of 2004, Pentair (PNR) acquires WICOR companies, including Hypro, from
Wisconsin Energy Corporation.
2005
FoamPro unit receives U.S. patent approval for AccuMax® multi-point foam injection
system. Enters industrial market.
